The Hillman 1/4 in. - 20 Stainless Steel Wing Nut features extended "wings" on both sides which allow you to tighten or loosen the nut without tools. The wings provide a grip for the thumb and finger for turning. Hillman Wing Nuts are perfect for applications in which fastener connections need to be assembled or disassembled often. They are commonly used where frequent adjustments or removals are needed, and can be made quickly at a later stage. These wing nuts feature a stainless steel construction, which lends best-in-class corrosion resistance. Parts also feature a coarse 1/4"-20 screw thread.
