    Floating head Tap holder equipped with a collet for holding 9/16"-12 and 9/16"-18 taps.
    This type of floating head helps to automatically align your tap or other tool etc to center if your spindle center is not perfectly aligned with the center of your hole to be machined when it plunges downward.
    This one is Not a tension compression style holder.
    The collet is for holding a 9/16" bolt thread tap with a .428" diameter round shank or close to that. This will not hold a pipe tap
